This policy applies to all information collected or submitted in our apps for iPhone or any other devices and platforms.
The LLC Monitoring App is used by employee's or direct partners of Land Life Company B.V. to monitoring tree conditions around the globe. The App is not meant to be used by anyone who has no connection to Land Life Company B.V. To achieve this, no measurements can be performed without logging in first.
You can login to the App using your credentials of https://internal-landlifecompany.appspot.com. It is not possible to create a new account in the App. The App will not store more personal information then already stored in our database. The database will provide only the name and the internal user id to the app. When monitoring with our App, the App will track your GPS location and record your current GPS location when a measurement is being performed. If you are logged in and send performed measurements to the database, your user id is associated to these measurements and thus to the GPS coordinates. It is not possible to send these measurements anonymously as you need to authenticate yourself in order to connect to our database. Land Life Company B.V. owns all collected measurement data.
The GPS coordinates are used to record the location of a measured tree. The user id is used to record who performed the measurement. This can be used to indicate measurement biases. No user data is ever shared outside Land Life Company B.V.
We use the HTTPS protocol for all data traffic and require authentication from a user via a JWT Token provided after logging in.
The monitoring results can be viewed on https://internal-landlifecompany.appspot.com, given that you are authorized. It is not possible to delete measurements send to our database. However, if you wish to remove your user or with to see which data we have recorded, contact techsupport@landlifecompany.com. We will then comply to your request.
